Chinese Herbals

Chinese herbal medicine has a rich history extending over several thousands of years. Their use has proven to be effective for treating a wide variety of medical conditions in both humans and animals.

Chinese herbals and acupuncture are often used together in order to synergistically enhance the effects of each other. In certain situations, the herbals can be used on their own, or in conjunction with other modalities such as laser therapy, rehabilitation or the Assisi Loop. They can also be taken with most medications and supplements that your pet is already on. Although they have minimal side effects when compared to other pharmaceuticals, herbal medicines are considered a prescription drug and should only be prescribed by a licensed professional who is trained to do so.
